David Lei Brandt is 1/5 of Capitol records hit boy band Varsity FanClub. Brandt has extensive background in dance having performed, taught and choreographed nationwide. The son of an Equity Stage Director and Producer, David Lei Brandt grew up honing/perfecting his acting skills on stage in mostly musical theatre. He has performed as leads in West Side Story, Big River, Guys and Dolls, Grease, High School Musical, Les Miserables, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Peter Pan, Fiddler on the Roof, Oliver, Camelot, The Foreigner, and The Diary of Ann Frank. He also had a small part in Pirates of the Carribean 2 and guest starred in the ABC Family show “The Middleman” along Varsity Fanclub. David has been doing commercials since the age of 13.
